Bry's son Matt wanted to be the first to purchase something.  He actually used what he bought for part of a cub scout project.

The Front Part of the Shop

Here is the front part of our little shop!!!

I just can't believe what it took to get the shop to look so clean and simple.  It is going to be a great place for the people of our little community to go and relax with crafting classes and crop nights!!!

When we began ordering our inventory, Cork's little girl found out that we were going to have suckers for a sucker tree.  Well, she just couldn't wait until the sucker tree was put up!!!  When she saw it she just stared at it and said that it was beautiful.  We agree!!!  This tree is special to us because we grew up with it.  It is our grandmothers.  She always had this sucker tree up and she changed it with each holiday.  It was a natural wood color but we spray painted it to update it a little.  It just makes us happy as we remember our childhood at grandma's and grandpa's.

Hanging Our Sign

What an EXCITING day!!!!

We were finally able to hang the store sign!!!

Actually our guys hung the sign and we just stood there cheering them on!!!

Both of our families!!!  The kids have been fun throughout this process.  They get so excited during each phase!!!  They were really cute as the watched the sign being hung.  Love how wonderful kids are!!!!

Here is is hung!!!
It is simple and even though you can't tell, it is really glittery.  It looks pretty in the sunlight.

Now how many people can say the name???

Moving Forward!!!!

We NEVER thought the day would come when we could actually start moving the constructions stuff out and the fun stuff in!!!!

Our house was full of stuff for months and now we get to finally get it our of our houses!!!!

Here's are dad stocking the paints.  He did such a nice job!!!

Here's the front of the shop.  Don't you just loooovee the window treatments?!!!
When you live in a small town EVERYONE wants to see whats going on.  That is great and we love everyone, but, it was slowing us down because, hey, you have to stop and talk for an hour or so when a friend that you haven't seen in a while stops by.  Right? Plus we wanted to keep what was going on inside TOP SECRET!!!!

But can't you tell we are a couple of moms?
I can't tell you how many times I was asked what was up with the Hannah Montana, Winnie the Pooh, and Wall-E sheets hanging in the window.

Well, we are so glad that are AMAZING window treatments are down!!!!!

More Construction Photos

More pictures of the process!!!

Bry's husband Albert taking down the horrible old lighting.

This is the future home of our Crafting Classroom.

Here's our awesome mom who works all week then spent her weekends helping get thing done around the shop.

We are blessed to have such wonderful friends and family that really stepped up and help us.  We couldn't have done it without so much love and support!!!

Store Updates

Hey everyone!!!

Construction on the store is now complete!!!
Here are a few pictures that shows some of our progress.

Our daddy and Bry's nephew planning our the floors.

Cork's hubby working hard laying the floors.  As the floor progressed he loved doing floor spins.  Tried to get a picture but he wouldn't let us!!!

Our kiddos were the best!!!  This is Bry's youngest.  He says that when he grows up he is going to be a scientist so that he can build a time machine then after that he is going to write books.  What a kid.

Here's Bry's hubby.  This is what he face looks like as he is saying "What did these girls get us into!!!!"

Anyway, here are just a few shots of the construction process!!!

More to come!!!

So last month we began the work on our new shop.  Here are some of the before photos.

Here is the view from the front door.

The building was previously used as an old cable company.  It sat vacant for years with a lot of the old equipment left behind.  It was so dirty and gross.  I actually took these pictures after some of the stuff had already been cleared out.

Lovely old paneling and office supplies!!!

Bry's hubby scoping out the job site.  He is possibly thinking--what did these girls get us into???
But I must say, aren't the ceilings cool?!!!  With a little TLC they are going to be so pretty!!!

We put the whole family to work.  Here are a couple of our little men working hard.

Check in tomorrow for more photos of our construction process!!!
